What a blessing it was to begin our 2011 wedding season with Rebekah and Nate. We headed east to Spokane to be a part of their big day, and loved every minute of our time with this special couple. I had the pleasure of meeting Rebekah when she was an adorable sixth grader. I was a youth leader at our church, and Rebekah was special to me right from the start. I have loved seeing her grow into such a beautiful and caring woman, and am so happy that she has found such a caring and loving partner in Nate. When David and I got married, Rebekah passed out programs at our wedding, so it was an even bigger blessing to get to be a part of her day as well. These two had a gorgeous wedding, and their warmth and genuine love for each other and those close to them was so evident throughout the day. Despite being a typical day in the Pacific NW (damp and chilly), these two made every moment count, and celebrated their love surrounded by lots of friends and family.
Rebekah’s dress and shoes were stunning, but nothing could top the way she looked in them! Truly a gorgeous bride…
Couldn’t resist throwing in these “gems” of Nate and his brother Titus practicing for the first dance….at least that’s what I hope they were doing. =) Ah brothers….good for so many things!
Snapped seconds before seeing his bride to be for the first time…It was so evident all day just how much Nate loves his Rebekah. You can see it in every picture…the way he looks at her…so much love…What an incredible future these two have ahead of them!
Sometimes I can hardly believe that we are given the privilege of witnessing this moment time and time again….I tear up seeing this picture…It is such an honor to witness couples so completely in love, and to be able to capture these first glimpses of each other….LOVE…love these two…Nate and Rebekah’s love for each other came through so beautifully in their pictures….loved sharing this day with them!
A great wedding is not complete without an awesome wedding party….We had it all…adorable kids…beautiful bridesmaids….wild and crazy groomsmen….one heck of a good time!
Rebekah and Nate were married at The Davenport Hotel in downtown Spokane, Washington….It was a stunning location, and I can’t wait to shoot there again!
I’ll admit it…I am a complete sucker for the father/daughter dance. It is so sweet to see the special love a Daddy has for his little girl, and I never quite manage to keep it together during these moments…Nate was also able to share a special dance with his little sister…such precious memories out on that dance floor! (And a whole lot of craziness too!)
Thank you Rebekah and Nate for allowing us to be a part of your day! It was an honor and a blessing to capture your wedding. Blessings to you as you begin your new life together! Love you both!
