We had such a great time with Josh on his photo shoot in Portland’s Pearl District. Josh will be graduating from Vancouver Christian High School next June. It was a privilege to get to take Josh’s pictures, and it has been an even bigger privilege to watch him grow up. We are both proud of you, and wish you all the best in your last year of high school.
We fell in love with these older semi-abandoned buildings, and were so happy we were able to use them in Josh’s shoot.
Our next stop was the Broadway Bridge! The next few shots are some of our favorites. I love the different textures, and thought the setting played well with Josh’s style.
David and I found the next location several weeks prior to our shoot with Josh, and were so excited to be able to use it with him. Josh was a trooper, and was able to climb up into these “windows” for some great shots.
I love the “Singing in the Rain” feel this next one has…
My favorite shot of the whole shoot!!
We had also found the next location awhile back, and thought Josh was the perfect senior to try it out with.
I love the next series of black and white shots. We had so much fun coming up with unique shots for Josh.
Next we headed down to one of Portland’s alley-ways and took the next series of shots. Josh is a budding and talented magician, so we also found a neat place to capture some shots of his talent.
Now you see them…
Now you don’t…
We snapped a few more shots on our way back to the car…including a stop at one of Portland’s busy street corners. Thank you Josh for a great afternoon. Have a wonderful senior year!
